He has 20 years experience in Computer Manufacturing and Software Industries, where he held a number of senior positions. John received his primary degree in Electronic Engineering and PhD in Reliability Engineering from the University of Limerick. He has 20 years experience both in industry and academia. He has published widely in Quality and Reliability jounals and has delivered papers at many international conferences on these topics. After graduating in Aeronautical Engineering Noeleen worked as a Reliability Engineer in Shorts Missiles Division. Noeleen later worked as a project Manager within the Aircraft industry.    Bob Kennedy Ph. D.
Bob is a manufacturing engineer by qualification and worked for a number of years with Abbott Ireland Ltd. a US medical device manufacturer. In1993 he completed his masters on the implementation of ISO9000 Quality Management Systems. Bob lectures on our quality management and tool design courses, specialising in inspection, testing and calibration as well as machine and fixture design. In 2003 the University of Limerick conferred him with a PhD. for his work on a model for community excellence.  Noel Raftery  BE, Lecturer in Quality and Production Management
Prior to 1980 when he joined the Institute, Noel was a Quality Engineer for 12 years in industry including GE-ECCO in Dundalk and Abbott Ireland in Sligo. He was course champion for the development of the National Diploma in Quality, started in 1984, and the BSc in Quality Management, started in 1991.
