North Sligo Athletics Club: Wins at Junior All-Irelands (Tullamore) 2008


Photographs taken at the Woodie's DIY Athletics Ireland National All-Ireland Outdoor Junior under-age Team Championships, at the Institute of Technology, Tullamore international standard running track, on Saturday 14th June 2008.


Cian Mc Bride and William Crowe of North Sligo Athletics Club gained Gold medals in the Woodie's DIY Athletics Ireland All-Ireland Outdoor "Paired" Boys Under 12 years 600 meters, which took place at Tullamore on Saturday 14th June 2008.

They also came 4th in the All-Ireland "Paired" Under 12 years Long Jump, earlier on during the same day at Tullamore.


There were 2 heats in the 600m event, with final results being based on the cumulative times of both atheletes in a pair from the same club, taken from each heat.
Cian won the first heat and William won the second, both beating off determined challenges from the Moneghan Phoenix A.C. atheletes who came second in each heat, gaining silver medals in the whole event.
