The Sligo Girls U14 Cross Country team were silver medal winners at these national finals of the Community Games at Athlone Institute of Technology.
Team: Ciara Connolly, Rosie Hynes, Sorcha Fallon, Cliodhna McGowan, Nicola McGoldrick and Claire Conlon.

(the team is made up of 6 boys; 4 run and 2 are subs).

Team members were:

William Crowe, Maugherow; Ciaran Stenson, Calry; Cian McBride, Drumcliffe; Dylan Carty, Cornageeha; Thomas Delahunt, St.Michaels; Trevor Kilgannon, Dromore West/Templeboy and Manager Brian McBride.

(the team is made up of 5 boys and 5 girls).

Team members were:

Mark Connolly, Cornageeha; Lee Roper, Cornageeha; Jack Gilligan, Coolera, Aaron O'Boyle, Coolera, Anne Kerins, Cliffoney Grange; Sinead Keogh, Cliffoney Grange; Ryan Phillips St.Feichins; Caelainn McGonigle, St Marys; Charlene Gilmartin, St. Michaels.

Caelainn McGonigle, St Marys,was individual Girl Gold medalist in this race.
